Out of the Mouths of Neighbors

Craig relayed an interesting conversation he had this morning with a neighbor, Darlene, who lives in one of the houses behind ours (just through the trees in the above photo). Darlene explained that she had been watching the progress of his landscaping efforts through her bathroom window. (I found this a bit unsettling after watching a "Peeping Tom" report on 20/20 last night, but I digress...) Darlene was very impressed with all of Craig's work and was suprised to find he had done it without having watched hours of HGTV. She then went on to observe that I had "kicked that roommate" of mine "to the curb" and gotten myself "a yard man." I have a feeling Jenn will get a laugh out of that one!
