Southern Girl

I think I've lived in the South so long my blood has thinned. When I moved here from Chicago after college 12 years ago, I thought the winters were toasty. This morning, I raced from my car into the office because I was shivering in 42 degrees. Then I saw on the weather section of my Yahoo page, that the high in Bettles, AK, today will be -11 degrees. (Quite a change from the nearly 80 degree high when Craig and I were there.) I used to say I could live in Alaska. Now I'm thinking maybe we could spend our retirement summers there. :)
