And I wondered what my mother would do in retirement. She takes her Community Board responsibilities very seriously and has spent the last several weeks fighting to get the city - both the departments of environmental conservation and transportation - to respond to the growing sinkholes on the street where I grew up.

Her actions have caught the attention of the Bronx Times Reporter (search for "seymour") and 1010 WINS news, who did articles about the sinkholes. She's also been interviewed or contacted by the New York Times and NY-1 and and MY9 TV news. Go Mom!
